There is an artificial way of creating this special green amber
For Baltic green amber, jewellers heat the surface with oxygen, or place the amber in a vacuum chamber or autoclave, along with nitrogen or argon. This process clarifies the stone and creates the beautiful green colour.
This kind of treatment is common with many precious and semi-precious stones and not just amber.
Personally I love interchanging with green and Cognac amber, depending on what I am wearing
